So my friends - I sent one of my 8080 dies to Aberco (Antoinne) for a die shot - he graciously made 399 separate shots for me and they were lovingly stitched together by John McMaster over at siliconp0rn.org
You can see the die shots on the links below - awesome!!
Now my question - I have only ever seen 8080 die shots on the internet with copyright 1976 - my dies have copyright 1974 and some initials in the bottom left corner (RD & RS) - does this make the device a prototype, an 8080A or just a plain old 8080? Thoughts?
