I found all of these on Ebay in Gold Scrap Auctions. The 486`s and 487 are in near perfect shape besides for a few scuffs and no bent pins. What are the 486`s and 487 estimated value? I dont plan on selling and I know it depends on the market at the time. Thanks for any help. Happy Hplidays everyone.

Your Welcome but Thank you, I love sharing hardware I find. I wish the 286 was in a lot better shape but still nice to have.

Do you have any info to share on the 487? I cant find anything sample wise for the 487 sadly.

486 and 487 are super early and priceless in my opinion. They can be sold for minimum 300 USD each or much more depends on bidders because they weren't on sale as I good remember.

You have finds of the year. How many tons of CPUs scrap needed to be checked to find those ?

These were in one auction of Six 486 CPUs at Buy it now for under $100, I got lucky because PayPal wasnt working right so I made a offer and the seller accepted it and another auction he posted with random Ceramic CPUs and controllers. Im guessing it may of been a estate find.

I buy 20 to 25 auctions per year on average, some years can be more or less. I got lucky by checking ebay at the right time.

These will definitely stay in my collection for awhile unless something comes up because these are the first 486 487 Samples for me. I assumed they were early but I wasnt sure.

Thank you for the information and have a great weekend plus happy holidays.
