Here I have found a book on Table of Secants and Cosecants to Nine Significant Figures at Hundredth of a Degree. It was published in March 26th, 1954.
Apparently, they applied the formula using the Langrangian interpolation coefficients using the computer punch card. Remember, it was those day before the engineering calculator came out in the late 1970s. |

Takes me back to my school days, before calculators were commonplace, when we used tables like that for everything
