A GPU for handhelds, medical and industrial equipment. VGA/DVI, 32-bit PCI interface, 8Mb integrated SDRAM and up to 64Mb external, 200MHz RAMDAC with up to 1280x1024 display resolution. Also integrated RS-232 and USB 1.1 controller for keyboard/mouse/touch screen, AC'97 compatible audio controller.
There are drivers for various operating systems including Windows CE, Windows XP Embedded, Linux and QNX. Xorg supports it, so most UNIX derivatives should be fine. Also AmigaOS as this chip is installed on the AmigaONE 500 (Sam460ex) board.
