My thoughts and prayers are with any colleagues here who are caught in the middle of the conflict that is unfolding in Ukraine. I hope to hear some good news soon, and that if you need to flee, you are able.

Это ЗОНА, брат!

A rather shitty situation, nonetheless.

Perhaps at the end of the shenanigans there will be more CPUs to be harvested from various wrecked/scrapped equipment

I do hope it ends quickly

I will not write here how angry I am at what happened Today because our collectors' circle has little to do with politicians, the army, etc. I am begging fate for a quick peace and cessation of aggression.

I agree with you 100% , Marcin. I hope Putin's murderers end up in a guerrilla conflict like his costly war in Afghanistan, where many Russians came home in body bags.
Pray for Ukraine!

Here's hoping that those CPUs are Elbrus goodies. I've never seen one in person before...

I have two in my collection: 4 cores and 8 cores.

They seem to be hard to get, but neat CPUs!

Horrible situation, and nobody wanted this invasion.
Who knows what would be the result? A lot of people would die.
We will face yet another economic collapse.

Elbrus is very easy to get actually, it's only a matter of money:

Under $2000, soon it will me much less due to ruble collapse.

I hope for a low death toll.
I never thought an old school invasion like this to occur.

Civilians will suffer.

I'm not surprised. With all the wars in the Middle East and Africa, it was only a matter of time before they moved closer to home.

I'm Russian and I'm against war. But I have nothing to complain about. And I am not ashamed either for myself, or for my nationality, or for my citizenship. And those who will eventually be put on the bench of the tribunal will repent and be ashamed. Putin and his accomplices have stepped into a personal abyss.

I don't think most Russian civilians are any different from the rest of us, it's only those with power who get hungry for more.

Sweet. Thanks for pointing that out, looks like I'll have to save up.
