Here is a nice Atmel Dev/programming board that handles most of the DIP packages of the AVR

has a ATINY2313V-10SU and ATMEGA8535L-8AU MCU on board as well

$15 and its yours

Bought this one in 2003. Unfortunately this board does not include on-chip debugging.
