Hi,

I have a laptop with CPU i3-2310M but I think it has problems with CPU. Can I fit Celeron B800 instead? I see that both CPU are socket G2, but I dont know if they are compatible?

You can check CPU support list for your chipset here:

Celeron B800 should be supported by most (if not all) 6 and 7 series mobile chipsets.

Hi!
I have a Gateway Notebook, model Q5WTC, 988B rPGA socket, HM70 Chipset, Gateway Motherboard: NE56r05b, EG50-HC-HR. The current processor is a very old Intel Celeron B820, is it possible to put an Intel Core i5-2540M processor, or others from the i5 generation?
