Hmm...looks more like a 486 in terms of size. The Chips 386 is rare, I wonder if this might be a fake?

This is a very rare 386-class CPU. But it requires a specific motherboard because it comes with a non-standard pinout.

See:

PS : If I have the chance to buy one someday, I'll design a specific shield for the Universal Chip Analyzer to investigate this chip properly

It's nice to finally see a picture of one of these chips. I been curious about these for a while.

I *think* I might know of one motherboard that can work with this CPU.

https://www.ebay.com/itm/165593035090?hash=item268e1d3152:g:FvoAAOSwc~li3GXH&amdata=enc%3AAQAHAAAAoDuxoovxb5wPRx6QxYUYgywoIgmjdVVP4Mrjj91QH%2BkYE6qaj%2FMYo3Al5C55bfi53tLEc6tmfwCL5rifufmuufMwJLPuzkSN67ffzj2%2F3qvRagZAG5xbUzdMfa%2F6drEW%2FtM54Q%2FH2Ay70bG%2BOSP%2B3%2FcRQtKFBIrT0BfrBwg3cg25luihWj4D6Vh3I0Pwbj42tbs195EeDzgR78RCSydBD5Q%3D%7Ctkp%3ABk9SR76hiPjtYA

I can't say for certain, but it appears to have an extra row of solder pads around the CPU socket. It's the only time I've ever seen a board like this, and the fact it has a C&T chipset is encouraging.

Can you share the brand and model? Perhaps some pictures? Bios dump?

Just check one of the board. There is "386 BIOS PLUS" marking on the BIOS EPROM chip.

What purpose are the additional pins?

Still checking the boards. "PEAK DI" BIOS mark instead of "PEAK DM". Also, there is a weird Landmak 2.00 results....
