Think of these as an Itanium 2 Overdrive
These are HP Hondo MCMs, the Hondo is a custom MCM made by HP to upgrade single CPU/node Superdome systems.
It integrates 2 Itanium2 Madison core processors (new sspec SL75Z HP Part # 3MDF-4114), each with 4M of L3 cache onto a single module with a chipset ( SL7CU HP Part # 3SH1-1205) and 32M of L4 cache. The only Itaniums with L4 Cache
They are rather large (same size as a Itanium2 + its VRM) and are covered in gold
They are clocked at 1.1GHz on a 400 MHz Bus
Core Family : 1F
Core Model : 01
Core Stepping : 05
$25 each sticks these beauties in your box _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!

Edit: also would be nice if you also had the VRM. |

I was just thinking about Hondos the other day.
I'll take it as a sign that I should buy one.
And I guess it's time for me to sign up for AVICC. |
