The Intel 82560 was a Host Interface and Memory Controller for IBM PC/XT/AT Systems
It typically was used with the 825xx LAN controllers and greatly improved LAN performance.
It seemed to be of limited sucess, as most datasheets are 'Advance Information' and few of these seemed to make it into commercial use.
These are Engineering Samples in a PLCC68 package
