Anyways thats my best guess
top only has 'E137-0034' stamped in it
no logo at all
back says
15348150AT
25301710AL
MALAY 546 ES
INTEL 94

I also have several Pentium 75s that are marked ES that will be for sale.

I've never seen Pentium Pro with just some numbers on it. Can you take a picture?

I'm interested by your ES chips Smile

Will take a P75 ES (should be marked as Confiential, because only "ES" marking is very common and doesn't mean that this is an Engineering Sample).

Razz

Not necessarily true. Not all Pentium enginnering samples were marked "Confidential":

Here are the PPROs
http://www.cpushack.net/Sale/IntelPPROs.jpg

Bottom right is the proto (though the 150 is neat too)

Here is the bottom of it:

Here are the 'ES' pentiums:

Nevermind the 150..its along for the ride.

Note the one pentium with the printing much higher on the CPU then the rest.

Pentiums are not engineering samples. Enginnering samples have Qxxx sSpec number. Prentium Pro looks very interesting though.

ahh ok I'm rather new at the pentium differences.
I knew the P PRO was good when I saw it though.

I was going through my Pentium Pro collection, and noticed I have one Pentium Pro ES with similar (not the same) numbers in the bottom right corner:

The processor doesn't say what speed it is. I bought it as Pentium Pro 200, though now I don't think it's a 200 MHZ processor as the logo "Intel without Pentium Pro" I've seen only on 133 and 150 processors. So, I think your processor is an earlier version of Pentium Pro, and I'm sure it's an engineering sample.
