It was the first name of K6-2. AMD named it this was because, it introduced 3D-Now! instructions. But when Intel released their Pentium II, they soon change the name to match Intel...

..curiously enough, it's the first one I see with the speed markings in the bottom(300mhz)...but it might just be me?

K6-2 still gets identified as K6 3D even in Windows XP.
