| I have a HP NX9420 laptop with a T7200 CPU in it. How would i know if a cpu will work in it before i buy it. I looking at a T9600 or T9900 for it. I did do the last bios upgrade HP had for it and it updated the micro code to add new cpu's for it. There not much left online about this laptop and only thing HP has is the drivers you can download. Well thank you for the help. |

Hello,
Since your motherboard is a socket M one, the best cpu you can upgrade is T7600 or T7600G if you care for overclocking. T9600 and T9900 are socket P processors. |
