Heavily suspect they aren't but still wondering. 2697 V2 at stupid clocks would be hilarious (and set the VRM of my R4BE on fire)

Some are unlocked but usually only the ones that have retail counterparts with unlocked multipliers.

ie, E5-1650, E5-1660, E5-1680, V1 and V2 are unlocked.

I have a QBDS ES Xeon that is equivalent to a hypothetical "E5-1640" and it is also unlocked.

I don't believe there are any multi-socket sandy/ivy bridge xeons with unlocked multipliers. At least I'm not aware of any. I've seen folks speculate on this quite a bit but the chips never seem to manifest.
