Any change regarding the De Minimis Exemption now or still the same?
Or was it in fact already reduced given the previous Xiaoyanxu post? Or just for China at that time?

So far in the last month I have gotten packages from Germany (no tax), Canada (no tax) and China (yanwen, sent by Daniel1984) no tax there either.

So not sure how much they are enforcing things at least for personal shipments

Received an Email from Ebay stating that the De Minimis will be lifted on August 29...
Well, I guess things will start to sting and for good this time from that date...

Thank god it isn't, because I'd be ultra screwed if they decide to enact export fees.

1 week ago I was suprised that Polish Post didn't accepted package to USA. They holded receiving any shipments to US except letters with documents so I went quickly to Fedex service point and sent at twice cost of it just to get rid of it. US customs has processed it at Thursday 28th August so day before new custom rules came into effect. Recipient has luck and me too because in meantime export customs from Warsaw asked me to fill in the gaps in formalities. Sending and receiving outside our EU district for private persons is pain in the a..

Avicc ChipPay seems to have issues with Cents when the Payer's Locale uses a Comma as Separator, it is the second time a Payment gets rounded down...

Ah yah, it definitely wasn't design to handle commas

I use an English Locale in my Computers and cannot correctly enter an amount with a Comma since some automatic check happens as I type the digits. I guess what happens using a Comma Locale is that it does take such inputs (and would reject something with a .) so everything appears fine with correct calculations of the Fee/Total when the Payer types and submits the Payment, but then the Avicc Server receives the "XX,YY" string and tries to interpret it with its own Locale, which truncates the YY Cents since it does not like the Comma Lol
Pretty nasty Bug :p
