It's my turn now to experience this kind of issue.
It started one week ago when I tried to access the website with an IBM Thinkpad T23 (Windows XP). Now, my IP is blocked and I have to use a VPN to access site and forum.
I think Genna is currently too busy the fix that.... _________________ http://www.x86-guide.net/Xhoba/en/collection.html |

| Did you try to access the site without a VPN using Supermium? I suspect that the IP block is a mistake and it simply thinks your browser is a 'bot' of some kind. |

The fact is I can't access the website even with my Windows 11 computers. _________________ http://www.x86-guide.net/Xhoba/en/collection.html |

| What's the error message? Have you tried changing Safari's default user agent string via the developer menu? |

| Calbris: Same message as marcin's post on page 3 in this thread. Will try changing the agent when I get home. |

You got the 'Access Denied - automated access/bot traffic' error page? What's your browser? I'm using Chrome 126 on Windows 7 and 125 on Windows 10, both of them are able to access CPU-World with any sort of user agent applied. I think newer versions of Chrome should work as well.

What's the error page? If you see the 'Access Denied - automated access/bot traffic' page, try using a different browser or change your user agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/125.0.0.0 Safari/537.36

Same error as the others? Meterman's error is a different variant of the 'access denied' page, seems to be the uncommon 'IP address blocked' error. I think that can't be worked around by changing the user agent or browser, the only way that works is to wait for the 48 hour timer to expire and try again. If gshv is active, try sending him a PM.
xiaoyanxu and alexino2, if I'm wrong and you got the 'Access Denied - IP address blocked' error page instead, you have to either wait for the 48 hour timer to expire or contact gshv through email or a forum PM to manually unblock your IP address. I've tried using different browsers and user agents on Windows 7 and 10, but none of them got the 'Access Denied' page. The HTTP referer field doesn't seem to trigger the error so I believe this must be an IP address block, not the site's bot or scraping detection script glitching out as it happened previously. |

| My work is shutting off access to non-work related sites tomorrow, so I guess this is bye for now, as I cannot reach the site from home or via my phone (IP ban message). |

I was banned for several months, but a week ago everything started working on its own. I didn't take any action. _________________ Wanted: 4 x VT-25-A tubes |

I corrected a rule for Firefox browser in anti-spam/scraper filter. Please try to connect to the site again.
