Looking for Advice on Toshiba L745 Upgrades!

Hey everyone, I’m planning to give my Toshiba L745 a serious performance boost and would love to hear your thoughts!

Here’s my upgrade plan so far:
✅ CPU: Switching to an Intel i7-2860QM
✅ Storage: Upgrading to a 512GB SSD for faster performance
✅ Wi-Fi: Replacing the card with a Dual Band AC1200 Wireless Adapter (Intel 7260 7260HMW AC MI)

I’d love to hear from anyone who’s done similar upgrades—what precautions should I take before swapping these components? Are there any compatibility concerns I should watch out for?

Also, are there any additional upgrades you’d recommend to further optimize the performance of my Toshiba L745?

A 512GB SSD is an excellent idea. The L745 chassis can easily accommodate a 2.5" SATA II/III drive, and as you've noticed, upgrade shops offer compatible SSDs for this model.
