As I am interested in the RCA kit:
Can you please figure out if there is no cheaper way of shipping to Germany than $170???

Yes it could be done cheaper but it would be without tracking or insurance and would take longer to be delivered.

With an Item of this Value, and I'm not just talking monetary value but also historical value as it would be irreplaceable, I feel that it is worth paying the extra to ensure that it is shipped safely and in a timely manner.

I am not prepared to take the risk of sending it by any other method but if you were successful in winning it and you were prepared to take that risk and absolve me of any responsibility then it could be arranged at a cheaper price.

Cheers
Robin

Much too high shipping costs will kill YOUR price and mostly the whole sale Smile

Sad Frank, I suggest you go to this URL

http://www.nzpost.co.nz/Cultures/en-NZ/OnlineTools/RateFinder/International+Parcel+Ratefinder.htm

Then Type in the Weight, 7.5Kg, Select Express Shipping as that is the only one I can get Worldwide Tracking with and it also includes Insurance,

and then tell me that the shipping is too expensive.

I have stated my reasons for using this method above and given anyone who is prepared to absolve me of responsibilty the option of using a cheaper method of shipping if they wish. I can do no more, apart from raising the reserve to help cover shipping costs which is the same result without options.

Cheers
