Hi all,

Does anybody know where to find a list of CPU Family / Models codes => string ? I mean, i would like to identify something like that :
vendor_id : GenuineIntel
cpu family : 6
model : 13
as a
GenuineIntel Pentium M processor
does anybody knows where to find such a database ?
Thank you in advance
ahFeel.

I don't know if such database exists. I've seen CPUID documents for older (80386, 80486, Pentium-class) processors on the net before, I can't find a link right now. If you're primarily looking for CPUID identification of Intel and AMD processors then check these documents:

Thanks root - the original is at http://www.ukcpu.net/Programming/OS/cpuid.txt in case anyone needs the link...

I'll be updating the info soon, with more 486 and earlier x86 processors added (not a lot to add, but there is some info to include). I'll also be starting to add some newer info (the doc stops about 3 or 4 years ago). I'll be starting on this as soon as I complete my site updates (a very large update that I hope to have online within a few weeks).
