Abit site doesn't show this motherboard in their "Processor support" list, and the fastest processor in compatibility report for ths motherboard
is Athlon XP 2000+. Nevertheless, your motherboard may support faster Athlon XP processors. BIOSes "NV7-133R BIOS C3" and "NV7-133R BIOS BD" on the BIOS page:

include support for Athlon XP 2400+ and XP 2600+.
