Yepp, very similar.
As described in Georges Guide the die shows the NS logo so I guess Intel bought some NS Parts and just put the Intel markings on them.
What might be the reason? Maybe there was a manufacturing problem at Intels plant and they had to fulfill an order.
That may be the reason why it is that rare.

Nevertheless, it is gone:-)

at the time AMD and microsystems international were intels second source.
National had a competing product so it is very unlikely that they would second source for Intel (They did liscense build 1702A's) as well as their own 5202
