I have always built my own PC's and always used AMD CPU's. But lately it seems that in order to go past the 2.4G benchmark I have to spend a lot of cash to do it. I have been running AMD for many years but it appears that in order to upgrade my Athlon 64 cheaply, I need to go back to Intel ... any input on this???

I hope we'll see faster and cheaper AMD Athlon 64 processors after they switch to 65 micron technology. Rumors are that the 65nm chips will be shipped this month.
