| I got p3 800/256/133/1.7V from friend, he said that it might work, it looks perfect, are this proccesors damage often? I can`t find damaged one on polish ebay. Question is, is it risk to buy mainbord fot it? |

I have many damaged Pentium III and Celeron processors, and all of them look very good, i.e. it's not possible to tell if they are dead or not just by looking at them. I'd try to test the processor before buying the board.

| I agree. These processors are not worth much anymore and the shipping on the board you purchase is probably more than the chip is worth. The only pIII's that still fetch a significant ammount of money are the later tualtins. the 1400mhz versions can fetch as much as $75 on ebay. I you had one of these it might be worth it but with a coppermine core one such as you have I wouldn't take the risk. |
