YEAH you heard it right !
We need some sorta new system in place in here for none payers/none item received !
These aren't kleenex's we're trading ! It ain't a community chat site either! There's important enough actions in here that merites to have more security then this!
I'm not putting down the site, just bringing up a topic that needs attention!
Here's a good exemple:
http://www.cpu-world.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=36542#36542
So no more of this should happen...right ?

Right. I had the same problem with a guy on this forum from Canada Paid $20CAD for a bunch of chips. Never received anything. Even though he re-sent the package with a new set of chips after two months, nothing.
No money back, not even an offer to split the costs half way. So yes i know what it feels like...
Edit: But to answer your question, no i dont think we need a secure system. You have to calculate the risk of chips beeing lost in the mail if you choose to ship them without tracking/insurance. And a non-payer (which i havent seen here yet i think) will be out in the cold pretty fast. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. If you paid via PayPal you always have a recourse that way. It might take some time to recover the funds, but when a dispute is filed they usually decide in favor of the buyer, as it's very difficult to establish proof of shipment and/or delivery. (Without a signature, anyway.)

I think a sticky thread similar to the ebay early warning thread would be good idea. A single place where a person could look to see if there have been past issues with a buyer/seller. We all know that sometimes the mail fails, or that personal circumstances may prevent timely communication, but seems to happen more often with some people than others
I think it would be too much to ask of Gennadiy to create a "secure" system - since there is no such thing. Even Ebay's resources are not enough to create such a system.

I agree that there should be a thread to indicate what sellers/buyers are unreliable or have issues that we should all be aware of.
Information is one of the most valuable resources we have, and if someone has a problem either shipping or paying for an item it is only fair that the other party be informed. A person who has problems and says nothing, hoping they will go away, or accuses the other party of being the one with the problem, they are the people who should be top of the list (this isn't aimed at anyone, BTW...), whereas a comment might be made where one party is less than perfect but at least tries to keep others updated.
I'm sure we all ahve issues with at least one other forum member, the most important thing is that whatever is done about it is done in a civil way. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

JD, i have PM:ed Mixeur for an explanation. No one is taking sides even if you seem to think that everyone here is against you in every other thread. I want the posts back as much as you. Infact the post was removed after my answer so moderators is taking your side right?
If the posts are infact deleted i will try to remember and PM you my answer to your reply.
After that we could start another thread about moderator policies. _________________ My collection: http://www.cpucollection.se :::::: http://www.chipdb.org Photos of chips you never knew existed. Now over 6000 different chips in the database. |

No post are delete my *** !
Seems to me one pretty big text I wrote is missing from here !
But again, the sides are taken so whatever man! I'm not playing the "PM" game because none of you are playing serious moderator game !
You want to take texts out of contents, so be it ! I'm not solving things in PM's, It don't work because clowns like this bring up old unresolved issues into threads like this one I created ! So whos not using pm's to solve what?
Again I arrest my case and drop this nonesence ! It is clear that the mods aren't playing by the rules and only favoritism !
What will be the impact you think?
Answer------> I'll make sure to tell the public in my area not to bother coming on this site anymore ! How's that ? Lovely what such impacts can do ....don't you think?
Sammy C was right !!! And I apolligies to him ,where ever he is, and I now understand completely what he told me for his "sudden leave of absence" !
....and now I will do the same !
JD
My last post !(don't bother sending me a PM, my account will be deleted as of now !) I'll make sure to pass the word around ! EBAY RULES ! Later ! |
