exactly 'Enhanced RISC' RISC has become a muddled term.
Just because IBM says its RISC, doesnt mean it is, it (and most CPU's today) are RISC-like, because they have to be to support all the additional stuff required of CPU's (namely addressing modes, SIMD (IBM/Apple call these Alitvec I think), etc) _________________ New for 2025! The CPU Shack has a co-processor!
