Hello
I have a doubt for some cpus.
this ST CPU are they really MCU or CPU ? => here
I don't found information for the siemens SAB 8237A-5-P and mitsubishi ML58255AP-5 ==>here
I want to know if it's CPU, FPU, or MCU .

| The ST 6802 is 6800 CPU plus 128 bytes of RAM wich basically makes it ROMless MCU. Second board is standard XT compatible motherbord. 8237 is DMA controller, 8255 is programmable parallel port interface. Your board is missing the CPU. One of the empty 40-pin sockets takes 8088 CPU, other one will take 8087 floating point coprocessor. |
