Below you will see some chips from my last scrapyard run. My questions are: In the first picture you see an IBM chip out of a desktop server wich was in the ps2 era. Also on this board was a 186 processor. This chip, however had a fan directed on it. Does anyone know the function?
In the second picture you see a clone of the first mips design, the r2000. I cannot figure out who made it though. I have never heard of a "pace" chip manufacturer. If you have I would love to know something about it.
In the third picture you see an unknown ti chip. This chip was a socketed pull but I was not the one to pull it so I don't know anything about the board. Does anyone know the function of this chip? |

It is made by Performance Semiconductor.

I'd be interested in the Pacemips if you wanna get rid of it. And the board it's on. _________________ ..::morkork::..

I have desoldered the pace and scrapped the board (boards take up to much room so I typically don't keep them.) I am not really looking to sell the chip. I do not have duplicates of it.
Sorry,
