By request we will now continue these competition threads by looking for the oldest Intel A80487SX . NO Eng. or Mech. samples.



Post the whole model number and date code including lot number (see my entry). Pic is not necessary until we have a winner.

Winning chip will replace the current chip photo in the Cpu photo library. (if winner wants)

Look here for previous finds. New members, PM me if you got anything that puts you on any of these lists.

The 487 was introduced in April 1991 (That calculates to week 13-16)

Yepp, the main reason for doing these contest is (at least for me) not to get on top of a list but to see the life span of a cpu. I have changed topic to oldest and newest, in other words, post the chip you got!

C2330805 (The B0 and SZ494 go without saying - I believe it is the only spec available for a production i487...)
