Hehe, my name is Andree and I don`t feel
accosted at all
By the way - I heard about that 'Andree' is the female
form of 'André' in France, is this true?

Yes, it is.
In italian same spelling for both genders, Andrea. But I never knew a girl with such name.
Uni-gendered names are a real pain when you are called in public for some reason, and some funny person thinks you are a lady or a gentleman and thus adds the Miss or Mister... hate those.
Not talking about mispronounciations of names... |
