I have the same mobo here and i'm running a Athlon XP 2700+/333FSB (thoroughbred) on it, only its FSB runs on 200 MHz and not on 333 |

This is probably because the BIOS doesn't recognise Thoroughbred processors. Try to set FSB manually to 266 MHz. This will be slower than 2600+/266, but better than what you have right now.

you don't have to say that to me, i know how to go around this, the problem is that it doesnt support an FSB higher than 200 with this processor, so i dont have much choice, BIOS update wont help much 'cause ECS doesnt provide features for higher models. If you set it to 266 manually in the BIOS, mobo wont POST _________________ Windows: A 64-bit service pack to a 32-bit extension and GUI shell to a 16-bit patch to an 8-bit operating system originally coded for a 4-bit microprocessor and sold by a 2-bit company that can't stand 1-bit of competition. |
