| yea i was wondering what the best PCI card would be to buy. i relize that pci cards are probably the crappiest things ever put on this planet but my brother is getting a custom cpu for christmas so i didn't see the need to upgrade nething more than a gfx card |

What is your system? Cpu, ram, motherboard name.
You mean PCI Express? Or old Pci slot in older mobos, because you don't have an agp slot to upgrade?
I don't understand exactly, we can sort it out though with more infos.
If it's a pci express an X1300 will be more than enough for counter strike source. |

Go with either the 7600 for $130 or a 7900 for $180, they are what I am deciding between |

talking about pci cards
i got a question
i know that all the pci slots share the bandwidth
i got a modem on a pci slot but i dont use it (only use ethernet which is integrated), im buying this pci video card so my question is
i have to take out the modem and uninstall drivers etc just to get my pci card working at 100%? or maybe the bandwidth only decrease if i got the modem working?
thanks |
