Ah, I missed it. It's on page 2 of your 1702 pics. I think that one originally came from me... I have several MF1702's with that same date code (they were part of an Olivetti test system), one of which I auctioned off with a group of other 1702's.

Although mine's a lot earlier (1973, week 4).
Here's an interesting AMD chip from an old DEC system:
I also ran across this the other day:
Nice assortment of package types.

AWESOME BOARD! You're the only one other than myself that has a 1402A intel, with "intel" on it. Great find. _________________ http://www.RareCPUs.com

Thanks!
That's the character generator board from a 1971 data terminal, incidentally. The 1402's are used as display memory.

At one time, the layers of an IC were hand-generated using a process called "cutting rubies," referring to huge sheets of Rubylith that were painstakingly cut out with an x-acto knife and sent to the mask vendor.

I've not seen anyone talk of this 8088 version. It has both an "A" & "B" portions of the CPU. Copyright dates are '78 (understandable enough), '86. For the full (SIMM-like) circuit it is on (with an 8087 socket): [/img]http://www.IBMMuseum.com/Pictures/Wildcard.jpg[/img][/img] |

A white moto indeed is something very special!
Don't care if it is a CPU or a support chip! |
