Hi everybody,
I was working on honeywell PLC which use MC68B09EP micro. according to its datasheet, it require external crystal or external clock at its pin 38. i have traced every single line on the pcb but could not find any trace lead to pin 38. my question is: does this proc has its on internal clocking device? thank you. |

No. In the 6809E, crystal pins 38 and 39 were reassigned for use in multiprocessor systems. Clocking is done externally, via pins 34 and 35.
