|
|
Hey all!
I was just noticing in the COMPARISON charts, for the Athlon64's and the Sempron64's , that there is a major difference between the Temp/Watt ratios, when comparing like-speed Semprons to Athlons...
I have heard that the speed of the cache has alot to due with temperature...is this why the rating if of the form:
70 Degrees (C) --- 89 (w) = Athlon64 ada3000bxbox
69 Degrees (C) --- 59 (w) = Sempron64 sda3000bxbox
------------------------------------------------------------------------
01 Degree (C) / 30 (w) = ratio difference between processors
With the cache being 1/4 for the Sempron , in accordance with the Athlon,
it seems that the cache has ALOT to do with Temperature versus Wattage differences!
Am I wrong, here? |
