I have an ASUS A7V133 200/266 Mhz FSB Socket A Motherboard. My CPU is a 1.53 MHZ AMD Athlon. What is the maximum CPU I can upgrade to without risking overtemp?

The fastest CPU for your board is Athlon XP 2100+ (Palomino).

....cause the max multipliyer is x13.
After that, it would need to be x13.5,x14,x14.5... to achive from AMD Athlon XP 2200+ and up .

A shame really, cause the board coulda been much better for an ASUS.

(I have one too in my old stock)
