you cannot get agp 8x + pci express + sli. In truth if getting agp 8x with pci express is difficult. I think their is one chipset that will do this but it is not great. I have a asus a8nsli premium motherboard I am quite happy with. I recommend it. It is pci express + sli.

Dont bother with AGP- it's more expensive, slower and outdated than it's PCIe brethren.

Consider buying the P5N-E and a T4300 for a budget PC :-d Quite a performer, that Core stuff!!

Dont flame me for plugging Intel in an AMD thread Very Happy

Not that I'm about to flame you or nothing, but there is one thing I do hate about people "jumping the gun" on, Oh,buy Intel products, it's the best stuff out there and everything else sucks , kinda attitude !

I don't dis Intel, even tho I am an AMD fan. In fact, I'm very much empressed about their new conroe series. But hey, AMD is coming out with a new Quad to quick their conroe down, so...whatever..s'all the same to me...One out does on the first year, then the next time it's the other...

This thread is about him wanting to buy a Socket 939...so why change the guys idea? Anti AMD ? Maybe... but let's stick to the program, he wants AMD Wink

PS...if my boards are too pricy, believe me , go on Ebay, you'll find a Awsome priced 939 for under $100 guarrantied ! ...and it WILL get the job done !
