| I replaced Duron1300 with Athlon 2600 AXDA2600DKV3C but when turned on the PC, the monitor was empty only saying "no video signal". I changed FSB to 133 and cleared CMOS on the motherboard, but no any progress. Does it mean that the cpu is dead? |

| Thank you Marcin for the propmt reply. When running asrflash.exe with option /s (save original BIOS to file), I got a message "Chipset/Flash part is not available. The function will be invalid". Does it mean that I cannot save original BIOS before updating it, or I even cannot update BIOS at all? |

This board should support Athlon, Duron, Athlon XP, @max 266FSB no problem.
As for the bios update, are you properly using the "flash files" ? There's is usualy 2 files, and when you start it up,you can choose to save,rewrite,exit..etc... make sure you unpack the files correctly on a floppy disk, then reboot, making sure the boot sequence is floppy first...
I got more info but I'll see how you make out...
..and yes, always choose to save first
