hi there


my sytem is amd athlon 3700+ 2048 memory pc3200
msi nforce 4 neo-f
asus radeon x1600pro 512 mb


when i buy this computer i used corecenter to overclock (msi motherboard)


but if i try to overclock now the computer restarts hmm weird worked 2 months ago

well since u guys helped med before i hope that there is someone here that may have a clue to what the problem is

Are you setting for a higher overclock? Maybe the new settings are too extreme and the devices can't stand it, and so you get a reboot.


Software overclock isn't very good, you'd better to make it via BIOS.
For that I can't help you though.

In the worst case you have a faulty device and you can't go more than normal speed. But I don't think so.


You should browse for an overclock guide, try a search in google or yahoo.

before i could clock maximum in the corecenter program now i can go half way


my cpu tempratur is 32 celsius


and if i uninstall the corecenter i can overclock in the bios

try to update the corecenter and the bios to the latest version

i use clockgen to change the FSB and speedfan to see the temps
