Hi
I have an Epox main board No. EP-8KHA with an AMD Athlon XP 1700+ Palomino model 6 cpu installed.
I wish to upgrade the cpu.
Will an AMD Athlon XP 2800+ cpu Barton model 10 fit this board or
an AMD Athlon 2400 Throughbred model 8 fit.?
How much % improvement will I get for each cpu
Many thanks |

It looks like these are the only ones.
The Socket A compatible AMD Athlon XP processor 1500+ to 1800+, and 600MHz to 1.4GHz AMD Athlon and AMD Duron processors
The last BIOS update was in 2002-12-23 so I would think the processors mentioned above would be the only ones. Maybe someone else will know more about this.
