computer upgrade...help.

please what is everyones take on sli computer sys. (dual graphics card sys. info at: slizone.com...if u don't know what it is,otherwise disregard) i am having a delimma with making a decision on whether to go sli or not. is the technology to "young" for getting now or just to expensive...what is everyone's outtake on this subj. i have the money to spend this time and i want a upgrade that is going to be hellaciously great but not going to overboard. bottom line i want a "flawless" performance in my hardware so i can game without the worry of lost performance. amd or intel? monitors, propper mouse: laser or... please help in any way possible. i just want a good gaming sys that can do business plus be around and stay up with new software for a while to come. thank-you for your time and godspeed.

2x the price for only about a 40-60% improvement- Good for those who have a small udget, but the money is better spent on a one-time graphics card.

I suggest 1.5'ing your budget for the 1/2 graphics- Go for a $300 card and you wont be disappointed.

Tomshardware.com has a nice 'best card for the price point' list, so hop on over there and pick a card out.

ALso, never waitfor something better to come out- They always are coming out with betteer things with even better on the horizon and you'll end up waiting forever
