| Here is my newest tradelist. It includes some nice goodies. As usual I left out the crap everybody has triples of. At some point in time I will probably add a price list so don't hesitate to make offers. I collect mostly x86 chips. I would really like to find a pre-zz 386 with old 286 style text. I would also really like one of tlccomp's socket 4 ES chips and would pay well for it in addition to anything in my tradelist. I have also been looking for a 386 es for some time. Anyhow, I will stop rambling. Here is the list. |

I have compiled a list of prices for my chips for those who do not want to trade or don't have anything I am looking for.
Prices and conditions (of the processors not of the sale ):
Q323's - both in good shape each has one or two bent pins, all pins intact. These are not for sale at this time. I would like to use them in trade, even or uneven, for other es or very rare chips.
Power PC 604's $15 - All are desoldered BGA chips.
SX753 $15 -missing a couple pins
sx835 with processor text $12.50 - all pins straight
pcpuv60 $25 - all pins straight
old logo 486's $15 - all pins straight
Ibm Intel 486 $6 - all pins straight
HP pa 7100LC $15 - all pins straight desolder
HP pa 7300lc $15 - all pins straight socket pull
Ultrasparc 143 $8.50 - bga was popped of the board all balls intact may be spoken for
IBM unknown enterprise server $15 - desolder bga, this is the last one I have left
Intel R80286 lcc $5
Ultrasparc IIi lga $6.50
Supersparc TMS390 $6.50 |

| I will take the IBM white ceramic chip + the SX329 486, assuming payment through eBay is possible. |

This is my current wantlist. All of these I would be willing to arrange trades with some I would be willing to buy at a fair price. Some at a not so fair one
-Pentium Pro and before es's particularly ceramic pga. I am especially looking for a 386 as it would fill a hole in my collection.
- I have always wanted a socket 4 es but I believe tlccomp, nikko, and chipcollector have the only known examples.
- Any FDIV of an s-spec I do not have. I need (sx842, sx926, sx828, sx653, sx874, sx921, sx922, sx942, sx943, sx944, sx886, sx910, sx956 and sx960)
- pvpu5v66
-A pre-ZZ Intel 386 with non-engraved 286 style text. 12mhz would be sweet.
-old logo Intel 486's that with s-specs I don't have yet especially the dx-50. (I have sx328, 418, 308, 419, and 329)
- HP pa 7100 or and 7000
- early MIPS
- a nexgen
- a chips super 386 of either mhz (like the one I ignorantly traded away)
- an AMD pga 286
- a harris pga 286
- key chains, belt buckles, bracelets, ornaments, and anything else embedded with chip die. |

| LZF has some of the chips you mentioned for sale... at high prices. You might want to bookmark his sales page and check it periodically. A couple of weeks ago he had a very early 386-16 for sale, which I took, and I purchased my 386 "16 bits S/W" from him a few months ago. I also own a 386 ES, bought more than $100 from a seller in Taiwan last year, but I'm not interested in selling or trading these chips. |

Bummer, I missed the early 386. I do keep an eye on his auctions and buy fairly often. I have found him to be a good reliable seller. He also does a good job describing exactly the condition of the chip. Many sellers are very vague. It is amazing how much stuff he lists and how rare some of it is. He single handedly brought the prices of sx753's from more than $35 each to $9.00. That is volume. It would be fun to see a graph of prices over time for the sx753. I remember one sold by a member of this forum for $250. I wonder if debs has this data. She keeps pretty good track. We could calculate at which point the chip will be worth less then $0.00 You are right about the high prices on the others though $350 for a 186 ES . It is also worrisome in that every time he sells one of his ultra rare several hundred dollar chips he replaces it right away. It makes you wonder how many he really has. With the dramatic drop in the price of chips since the Chinese entered the market it makes me very wary to drop a couple hundred dollars on a chip. It even makes me wary to drop $35 on a Pentium 3 or 4 ES. I never thought I would say that. I also wish LZF did not list everything with a set of 10 common chips for hundreds of dollars. I blame E-bay though, when they charge some countries nothing and others ~10% to list their items they create this mess wherein many items are listed for advertisement on the off chance some sucker will stumble by. If I could list for free I would probably have most of my collection listed at several times their value on the off chance a sucker would drop by. It does bother me though because I have to sit hear and see chips I would love to have danged far above my head.
Enough ranting,
Thanks for the tip Patrick |

Agreed on all accounts!
One more thing: there are ways to automate a batch of searches. I have been using Prospector for a few months, and it has helped me find nice chips. The ability to quickly perform a large number of searches is especially useful for "buy it now" auctions...
