I updated this week-end the CPU WORLD RECORD THREAD, and I just thought that the last contest was made a really long time ago.

We had many contests for Intel cpus, one for AMD (K6) cpus but nothing for Cyrix.
So that's what I propose you today : who owns the oldest Cyrix 6x86 , the most succesful Cyrix cpu.
NO Eng. or Mech. samples.

Winner must be verified by a scanned or photographed chip with numbers clearly readable.

CPU WORLD RECORD THREAD

Top 3 chips will be added to the CPU Hall Of Fame

If two chips are in the same week they will be separated by the following one or two characters (Lot code).

Current standing:

Gold: Marcin Cyrix 6x86-P90+ 1995 Week 40 B

Silver: Chiptalk 6x86-P90+ 1995 Week 42 C
Bronze: Pinkie 6x86-P90+ 1995 Week 43 A

4th : CPUBar 1995 Week 44 C
5th : CPUShack 1995 Week 51 A
6th : Mixeur 1995 Week 52 H
7th : Jrmunro 1996 Week 04 A
8th : Tlccomp 1996 Week 15 F
9th : Cpuswe 1996 Week 15 K1
10th : FDIV 1996 Week 21
11th : Dume 1997 Week 12

Now lets see who has the oldest chip... Good luck! icon_peace

Lovely initiative Mixeur!!!

My slowest 6x86 is a P120 so i will go for the bottom place Smile

But actually the oldest is this P150 (and if i come near the top i will scan the back)

Datecode G8D4615K1. That would be 1996 week 15 right?
