well, this is my first post but ill get right to the point, im runnin a Intel P4 3.0ghz socket 775 CPU on a DFI Lanparty pro 875p-t mobo and everything is pretty a-ok with my computer but up until this past weekend i was usin teh stock intel CPU fan and My cpu got pretty hot quite frequently about 45-50C idle and about 70-72C load, then this past weekend i bought a basic 30 Manhattan CPU fan 45.8 CFM and its def alot quieter but it still idles at about 45C and full load about 55-60 which is alot lower than before but im not sure if thats still too hot or not.
also if anyone is familiar with speed fan maybe you can help me with one of the Temp readings.....

i labeled it as <unknown> well, because since ive DL'd Speed fan its ALWAYS said 128C which i know is hot enough to melt/fry something and it -never- changes idk if its a bad temp sensor or i just don't have anything for it to read or what but as you can see everything else is fairly cool in there, even i occasionally OC my CPU to 3.46Ghz and nothing reall changes except maybe 2-5C on my CPU but any responses would be appreciated
I couldnt post \any "links" because im a guest so i guess copy paste for Pic , theres a space in http |

Please download Everest Ultimate or Corporate Edition. In task bar you will see temperatures. Let us know if there still will be any parameter with 120 degrees.
PS. 50-60 degrees at PIV 3 GHz is very good temp - trust me _________________ Visit ABC CPU - Virtual CPU Museum. |
