i have a question about changeing bus and clock speed on my GA-7VTXH+ motherboard
im soon to change a CPU on my compter
from a
AMD Duron 1000 Speed (MHz) 1000
Bus frequency (MHz) 100
Clock multiplier 10
to a
AMD Athlon XP 2400+
Speed (MHz) 2400 (rated)
2000 (real)
Bus frequency (MHz) 133
Clock multiplier 15
bus will change from 100 to 133 MHz, and the clock multiplier will all so change from a 10 to a 15
my question is i notice ther a seting default ck_ratio is set on auto and clk_sw is set default on 100,, well i know i have to change the dip switch from 100 to 133, but what does the auto mean, does it mean when i change the cpu, it will auto change, the multiplier |

not much really to worry about
and also i have update my BIOS to a F5, ther have a F6a beta, but the way it look gigabyte not going to finish it, so im not touching it |
