Intel Xeon Quad-Core X5355 2.66GHz Processor (ES) Engineering Samples
(Selling Set of 2) would possibly consider selling them individually...

2.66GHz - 1333MHz FSB - 8MB L2 - LGA771 Socket
The part number on the chips are HH80563KJ0678M

CPU's are OEM Chips, no warranty, no heatsink (but you can buy heatsink from newegg.com $25), they will come in shipping box (not retail box)

Both CPU's work perfectly, and were only used for for a total of maybe an hour for testing purposes. CPU's Spec numbers match so you can install them on the same board no problem.

Retail is $1209 per CPU
I will let them both go for $2000 OBO shipped (Insured Fedex)

My loss your gain, rare opportunity to get the fastest Xeon processor on the market right now.

PM me if your interested

WoW those are nice icon_dribble far to nice for a poor fellow like me. That would be a heck of a gaming machine though. 8cores 2.66 ghz and 2megs of cache per core. Yikes

And as a bonus, higher power consumption, heat, noise, and bugs because you have a ultra-high end machine that's barely tested by anyone Smile

Games are only starting to get advantage of more than a logical CPU... I'd rather use this for 3D modeling, video compression, or perhaps distributed compilation. These are nice CPUs, but hard to justify.

Now life would be boring if we had to justify everything Smile
