300 is a great movie full of visual effects and graphics which made it different and much better.
Acting was great, director did a wonderful job and chose great actors, full of action, and it is based on a true story. |

Yea, I thought that was pretty funny about the Iranians. So much for there official stance that Iran did not exist until the rise of Islam. I guess ethnic pride trumps religious pride. Or it could just be that the Iranian president Acmadinawhatshisname had gone one whole week without having something to scream at the west for and his people were starting to wonder they were supposed to be so happy living in dirt shacks with religious police kidnapping their neighbors.
Anyhow, he kidnapped some British sailors now so the crap is really going to hit the fan. How has that news been hitting you all in the UK? Our news media seems to be ignoring it in favor of talking about the totally legal and more or less standard firing of some federal judges over their political leanings. I don't see the fuss. Every president cans them. Heck, Clinton canned them all.
I can't wait to see the 300 though. I might even pony up the $10 to see it in the theater. |
