do you have temp sensor on board ? you can see temp. in BIOS or by software like speedfan, motherboard monitor or Everest Ultimate.

All voltages are safe with good cooling.

I remember mine barton 2500+ overclocked to 2700 MHz. I used 1.9V on GiGabyte 3D Rocket cooler. All was OK.

Just wondering where I would find some of these diagnostic/monitoring SOFTWARE packages? I am using WARPSPEEDER and, it ISN"T reading the temps right!?!?!?!

Okay,..got SpeedFan...am running it...and, have MUCH BETTER idea of what my temperatures are.

But, there is still a SLIGHT difference between BIOS readings and Speedfan readings!?!

Also,...I noticed that my temp in the taskbar is a few degrees different than what I am viewing on the screen, in Speedfan.

Any reason for the differences?

Hey Marcin! Smile

Where is a GOOD site to find out about being able to OC? I have a pretty good board for it --->A Socket A/462 EPoX VIA KT880/8237 Pro chipset MOBO.

I don't want to try and even touch the "golden bridges" if I don't have to. Tried to do that with a DURON Applebred 1.8, and, just completely ruined the chip.

CHRISTY said something about PIN-WIRE changes...would like to know about that, and, if, through this method, I can "unlock" the multiplier!?!

Search on google for interactive pin mod guide and there you fiind it.
Marcin any ideeas on how could I boost the voltage on the CPU to 1.9V or 2V to overclock it to the max FSB on the board (400MHz) I am curently on 166MHz, but I i try more I have POST lock-ups. On the interactive pin mod guide the max voltage is 1.85 and thats vhere I am, but I want more.

THANKS

impossible. On motherboard there is one chip to process informations about temperatures. Speedfan is only software (same as BIOS). They have informations from chip and chip have info from sensors. You have propably incorrect configured Speedfan or you wrong reading them.

Thats because in the speed fand windows is the CPU temperature and in the taskbar is the system, aux, or HDD temperature.

No problem Marcin I'l post a new topic on that
