This site's database shows SX653 as an A80502 90Mhz pentium.. I am not sure this is correct, does anyone have any info on this spec? Thank you.

According to this link it is an A80502-90 (and there are supposed to be 200 of them available - anyone want to set up a group buy?)
It also appears to be mentioned in this document. _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

Be careful of china brokerage buys! Every purchase I have made has had problems. They will do or say anything to get your money. Fake parts are common. Ebay is something else, I have never had any problems with chinese sellers on ebay.
The main reason why I asked my orignal question is that the sspec does not fit into the SXxxx sequence. Of all the squences, SX xxx is pretty consistent. |

Good point. I had noticed it in the past but didn't think when posting my hasty reply...
The AX5E manual, however, would be less likely to refer to a non-existant sSpec, so I would suggest that the second link I posted above might give you the info you want (although I am unable to view some of the fonts here in the library, so will check the document at home, a Google search on SX653 gave that as a hit, and the cached HTML version does have the spec listed in Appendix B) _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.

What struck me most about it is that there is a Q0653, and SX953 would fit better than SX653 for the claimed core revision... _________________ My graphics card database can be found at http://www.gpuzoo.com.
