Swapping mother boards...

Afternoon,
I own two different brand notebook computers, a toshiba and a gateway. Am i able to take the gateways mother board and hook it up to my toshiba? Just a quick question before i start ripping things appart.

There is no standard for notebook motherboard. Every notebook manufacturers has its own format for motherboard.
So it will not be possible to switch motherboards.
