With latest BIOS version.
Sempron 3000+
Athlon 3000+ FSB 333
Duron 1800
On ECS home page revise 2.0 not exist so I suggested by revise 1.0 - older.
BTW. You can use max 400 GB HDD - just a notice.

before updating BIOS I recommended you to check board revise (PCB)manually - open case and look for markings on motherboard. This can be important in choosing BIOS update file.

| I just found out that my system has the latest BIOS on it. With that said out of the CPU upgrades that you recommended do any of them provide 2.2 GHz or more of power? |

you have wrong configurated CPU. Actual you have FSB 133 MHz, default is 166 MHz. Simple you have downlocked CPU. If in BIOS you will not able to change that. Search into manual for manual settings by jumpers/switches on board.
Difference between Sempron 2300+ which you have between example Athlon 3000+ FSB 166 will be viewable. Question is do you need more power CPU ?

OK went into BIOS and initally made the changes that you recommended but my computer would turn off about every 10 minutes so I changed it to 150MHz and it seems to be working fine now. Here is what it says now:

Ok since that may be the case can someone here help me find the right ratio between the two?
Here is the two types of "High Density" memory I am using as per Everest Ultimate:
DIMM1 512 MB PC3200 DDR SDRAM (3.0-3-3-8 @ 200 MHz) (2.5-3-3-7 @ 166 MHz) (2.0-2-2-6 @ 133 MHz)
DIMM2: Nanya M2U51264DS8HC3G-5T 1GB PC3200 DDR SDRAM (3.0-3-3-8 @ 200 MHz) (2.5-3-3-7 @ 166 MHz)
What I am typing next is straight out of my BIOS. I went back and changed everything to what it was when I started so you all could make the best judgement on it. Some of the stuff I can't change but some of the stuff I can. I will let you know what I can't change by putting those things in itallyics and the things that I can change I will give you what they are set at and what their options are.
Things in ITALLICS are things I can't change.
DRAM Clock/Control
Current FSB Frequency 133 MHz
Current DRAM Frequency 200 MHZ
DRAM Clock is set at "BY SPD". Its options are as follows:

166 MHz
200 MHz
DRAM Timing is set at "Auto by SPD". Its options are as follows:
Manual
Auto by SPD

X DRAM CAS Latency: 2.5

DRAM Burst Length is set to 4 becuase of High Density memory. It's options are as follows.

It asks that you enter in a MHz rate. It tells you to enter a number that is between the MIN: 133 MHz and the MAX: 165 MHZ.
That is exactly what my BIOS is set at right now can you please help me out by telling me what to set it at so that I can get the best speed and performance out of it without causing my computer to shutdown as it did this morning. Thanks. |

try red settings + green with 3 3 8 3
or 166 dram clock with "auto by speed settings"
and set this to 165 or 166:

Ok here are the changes that I made that have made from what you recommended that worked:
DRAM Clock is set at 166 MHz
DRAM Timing is set at "auto by speed settings
CPU Clock is set at 165 MHz
And I set Auto Detect PCI/DIMM CLK to disabled

| Nevermind to the post above. Those settings caused my computer to turn off as well. So I set them back to what they were originally were. Back to the drawing board. LOL!! |

No idea. I really don't know about these kind of things which is why I m faithfully following all this advice. Since this fan isn't doing the job. Can you recommend a good one. I can go about $50 dollars on one.
BTW the socket type for my computer is a Socket A/462. |
